Two more records broken were that 4900 Storage Magazine readers cast in excess
of 15,000 votes.
The Storage
Awards (The Storries IV) 2007 is where individuals and organisations received
industry wide recognition before an audience of their peers. The winners were
elected by the readership of Storage Magazine – The UK’s number one IT storage

The evening
started with a champagne reception (sponsored by Fujifilm), which set the tone
for the evening. By 8pm, the industries finest had guzzled there way through a

Old friends
mingled with new, in what has become the storage industry’s premier networking
event.
After dinner came
desert and the compare Barry Williams who not only managed a few laughs out of
our demanding crowd but he also to prised a fabulous sum of £8380 in charity
auctions held on the evening in aid of the Lords Taverners.
Once the auctions
were finished, Barry was joined on stage by Stuart Leigh (Storage Magazine’s
publisher) and they rattled through the awards. The biggest winners of the
evening Were NCE, NetApp and Nexsan winning two awards each and Quantum who, in
front of 50 of their own guests were crowned Storage Company of the year. A full
list of winners can be found by clicking here.

Once the Storage Awards were finished, and winners congratulated, the serious business of networking resumed and carried on until way after carriages at 1am, with one of the highlights being the Pillar Data crew disguised as Borat taunting their rivals with their attire and more than a few hardened drinkers still in the bar at 4.00am when this merry soul went to bed!
A party worthy of the storage industry. Well done to everyone for making this a special night – and, of course, to all of our winners, across all of the categories. We look forward to welcoming you to the 2008 Storage Awards, The Storries V, where, once again, the readers of Storage magazine will reward the outstanding products and services for which our industry has become a byword.
Storage Magazine would like to take this opportunity to thank the Storries IV sponsors - Fujifilm, Hammer, HP, NetApp and EqualLogic - with category sponsorship from AMCC, Easy Software, Nexsan and GS Consultants
